I am a board certified music therapist with my own private practice in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  I've been practicing for 10 whole years and I really love what I do.  I have a Master's Degree in Music Therapy from Immaculata University and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance  from Millersville University.  I have played classical guitar since I was eight years old and have always had a deep love of music. My primary client base is centered around the adult population with varying disabilities.  I see clients in the group home setting as well as nursing homes.  I have a soft spot in my heart for my oldest clients and love singing classics and standards with them.  I believe that the work I do is meaningful and that the benefits of music therapy are inspiring. In every session, I aim to combine a sincere and nurturing style of music making with well informed methods of music therapy treatment. The intention of this Blog is to create a collaborative library of ideas for my own records and for music therapists to use in sessions with their clients.  It's also intended as an information and inspiration source as well.
